Our History

The Adopt A Senior program was launched in January 2022 as a partnership between the Let's Do Better Movement, a 501c3 non-profit organization co-founded by Danielle and Emily Kelly and the Phoenix Senior Living Centers, a regional operator & developer of senior living communities throughout the Southeastern United States.

The Let's Do Better Movement teaches the next generation of leaders how to lead from the heart and give back to their communities using two simple tools, love & education.

Phoenix Senior Living Centers was selected by the Let's Do Better Movement as our program launch partner because they are focused on providing extensive programming for their senior residents allowing them to "live, love and thrive."

Both organizations believe that all generations can learn from each other, thus are truly excited to launch the Adopt A Senior program together; allowing student leaders to give back to their communities while providing a sense of purpose to the seniors in the program.

The relationships developed truly help breathe life and joy into the lives of the seniors and have a positive impact on the student volunteers that will last a lifetime. It is one of those programs that truly provides a win win opportunity for both the volunteers and the recipients of the love being shared.
